Public Group active 2 years, 3 months agoOK Guys it’s time for Big Fish and Mexico again. We are going to Lake El Salto the best Bass Lake in the world. 50 to 80 fish in the 3 to 12 pound range per day. It’s unbelievable.
The dates are arrive Lake El Salto Mexico (Mazatlan) July 7th depart for Home July 12th 5 nights 4 days fishing, $995.00.

Four of us have just gotten back from a scouting trip at the new location for our annual Lake El Salto trip. The Lodge is called Ron Speed Adventures ( http://www.ronspeedadventures.com ) and is located on Lake El Salto in the same area as Anglers Inn, where we have gone for the past nine years.
One of the biggest advantages of the new location is the price. Anglers Inn has been charging us their reduced rate of $1,615.00, for their Deluxe 3 day 4 night package, and Ron Speed Adventures will charge us $995.00 for their Deluxe 4 day 5 night package, with an additional 10% reduction if we get 10 or more fishermen. That’s one more day of fishing for up to $750.00 less. There is an additional $85.00 for there prearranged transportation round trip from the airport for Ron Speeds package.
You say, Why such a big difference in price? The fishing is the same. The guides are equal or better (we used 6 different guides on our trip). The boats are better. The food is as good, not quite the variety, but we have been assured that was because there was only 4 of us on our scouting trip. The service was comparable. The accommodations were not quite as good, Motel 6 as compared to a Hyatt, but clean, hot showers and good maid service, just not all the amenities. But then, how many of us stay at the Hyatt when we fish.
All in All great value for the price.
